Departure
Take out all food
Please take all food that you brought or purchased here. Pretend this place is Burning Man. Leave no trace.
Turn off the wall heaters and set the thermostat to 55 degrees
Set the main thermostat upstairs to 55 degrees. Double check that all wall heaters are turned off and nothing is blocking them. Heaters are located in the Living Room under the TV, in the kitchen, in each downstairs bathroom and the downstairs bathroom.
Do the Laundry
Wash and dry any sheets that were used and place on the beds. No need to make the beds. If possible was the towels used and get them into the dryer. No need to wait for the dryer to finish.
Do the dishes
Wash and place all dishes on the drying rack.
Don’t forget to throw out the coffee grounds if you used the coffee machine
This is the most common thing we forget to do.
Take the trash and recycling out
Place the trash bags and any recycling into the proper containers. Glass cannot be recycled in the bin. Either throw away any glass or it can be taken to the North Lincoln Transfer Station 1 mile up the road. 1726 US-101, Lincoln City, OR 97367
Turn off all lights and ceiling fan
Make sure all the lights and ceiling fan are off.
Close the curtains & windows
Close all curtains and windows except for the loft curtains and south facing living room wall curtains next to the table.
